Psychotherapy is talk therapy where different therapeutic methods (or modalities) are used. They are empirically researched and have a long history of benefits. If one modality does not work, shifting to another is encouraged.

Hello! I am Natasha. I provide a client-centred approach. I believe the client is the expert and I will walk alongside you on your journey to self-acceptance and compassion.

I use a mix of therapeutic lenses which include Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with a focus on Compassion, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I am also Dialectical Behavioural Therapy informed.

Shame makes you want to quit. Shame stops you from living truthfully and fully. It seeps into each aspect of ones life and makes us self-conscious and regret.

There is no shame in asking for help. Releasing blame and shame will allow you to work towards a healthier self concept and towards compassion for yourself and others. This then leading to being able to meet the eyes of another and see the positive reflections when someone that we love looks at us.
